In these newsletters, Sonoma Land Trust recently announced that they are looking for volunteers for citizen science bird monitoring at Sears Point; training will take place Nov 5 from 1-5 pm. This monitoring is to “…help the entire restoration community better understand what is and isn’t working, and how natural processes are unfolding.”

The Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods has announced a Whale Watch Orientation on the same day, Nov 5 from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. “Help view whales and interpret their migratory patterns for the public visiting the Sonoma Coast from Bodega Head.”
